Posted on: 04.17.18 | by neurostudies

The Center for Neurological Studies & the “CNS Warriors” Hockey Team Celebrate the

2018 USA Hockey National Champion Disabled Veterans Hockey Title

At the

12th Annual “Tips-Up for Troops”

Kensington Metropark, Brighton, Michigan – Saturday, June 9th, 2018

What is Tips-Up for Troops?  Veterans and families enjoy an “All American” picnic as we show support for our troops. The Bass Tournament portion is open only to Veterans and Pro anglers (boaters can be civilians or Veterans.)  Participants are encouraged to bring family members to enjoy the picnic and weigh-in show at the West Boat Ramp pavilion.

About the Tips-Up for Troops event: In the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, Tips-Up for Troops has hosted over 400 injured/disabled veterans and 2,800 other guests over the past 11 years.  Proceeds go to the Motor City Veteran Hockey Association.

The Center for Neurological Studies (CNS) “Hope after Combat” program, is requesting you invite your Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran friends to the upcoming 12th Annual “Tips-Up for the Troops” bass tournament and picnic.  The Novi-based CNS proudly supports the Motor City Veteran Hockey Association (MCVHA.) CNS utilizes advanced MRI techniques for the detection of the kind of mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries often the result of battle-related injuries. CNS has been helping veterans to diagnose and overcome these injuries since the company was founded in 2011 and has initiated an in-depth “Hope After Combat” research project to improve brain injury diagnosis and treatment for military veterans. Contact CNS at www.neurologicstudies.com or call (313) 228-0930.

About the Motor City Veteran Hockey Association: Our mission is to strive to “Serve our injured and disabled veterans through the fun and friendship of hockey with a program of support, advocacy, and awareness of the “Invisible Wounds” and injuries from the Global War on Terror.” The CNS Warriors is made up of combat-injured and disabled veterans, as required by the U.S.A. Hockey Warrior Division guidelines.
